How do you get fit for Heaven?
First of all, you need the righteousness of another person which is JESUS CHRIST. You will not stand on That Day when Jesus returns, on your own merits or on your own self proclaimed righteousness. You need to obtain the right standing with God.
You need Jesus, and His washing away of sins with His sacrificial Blood on the Cross. The life is in the blood. That’s why Jesus laid down His life for you, so His Life could redeem you, to pay you back from a certain death and destruction, into a relationship and eternal life.
Don’t look at me – look at who I am in Christ and who Christ is in me.
That is what you should be saying on the Day of Judgement when the Book of Life is opened, revealing your whole life and track record.
In an instance everything is revealed about you, for every one to see. That is the Day described in the book of Daniel, where the ungodly is put to open shame.
“And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:2
Our Lord in Heaven can give you an imputed righteousness.
He will, when you have faith in Jesus, which is the only requirement, put (impute) Jesus sin free and faultless track record (while He was on Earth), into you. That is also called justified by faith – just as if you never sinned!
You also need a clean conscience.
A washing in Water is a renewal of your mind, a transformation. In contrast to a washing by the Blood of Jesus; to clean your bad history of sins, recorded in Heaven.
All past sins need to be uplifted to Jesus at the Throne of the Mercy seat, in order to be forgiven.
And of key importance is that you forgive others who have hurt you, so Jesus can forgive you for what you have done to others!
This is a daily ongoing process where God is chastising you; not to condemn you like Satan does – but to correct you.
It’s called Sanctification. An ongoing process where the Holy Spirits examens your inner man, the dark areas within you.
It’s of utter importance that you let the Lamp of the Holy Spirit, go through every secret room in you, into the darkest corner, so Satan and His demons can’t have a case against you. Any kind of strongholds will keep you captive, in prison.
Jesus came to set you free, to give you healing, peace of mind and life in abundance!
In order to get the Sanctification process started, you need to be BORN AGAIN.

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV) that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the HEART one believes unto righteousness, and with the MOUTH confession is made unto salvation.Acts 8:14-23 (NKJV) Now when the apostles who were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them, who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit (baptism in the Spirit)
For as yet He had fallen upon none of them.
They had only been baptized (baptism in Water) in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.
And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”
But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money!
“You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God.
“Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.
“For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.”Acts 8:37 (NKJV) Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”
And he (the man from Ethiopia) answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. (And the man from Ethiopia received the Holy Spirit and rejoiced!)”
When you receive the Holy Spirit, that is a sign, a token, a manifestation; God is well pleased with you! Receiving the Spirit from God is described as a down payment. He has personally reimbursed you, and when Jesus comes back, the reward is eternal life with Him and with all other brothers and sisters in Christ.
Jesus pictures Himself as the Bridegroom and the Church (His redeemed people, the remnant, the living spiritual stones) is pictured as the Bride.
You don’t want to miss this out. Time is short, trust my words.
Today is the Day of Salvation, when you should get into an honest prayer and welcome Jesus into your heart, and into your life.
Let Jesus be your best Friend – and not your un-friend (enemy). Don’t be in war with God, in controversies. Let Jesus in, and make Peace with Him. Then you will feel peace as you have never felt before. It will fill your whole being.
The Fruits of the Spirits are these;
Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.“
”But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”
Romans 8:11 NKJV
Back to the topic of Sanctification; the Holy Spirit will urge you, and lead you to Do The Right Thing! – In every situation.
To be your Lamp before your feet.
To show you the right and righteous way. Jesus is the Way (the only way), the Truth (the only truth) and the Life (the only life).
No one comes to the Father in Heaven without passing through our Mediator Jesus Christ.
If you confess your wrongdoings and transgressions; with a broken spirit and a humble heart; Jesus will forgive you with his own blood.
The blood is His Life which He offered willingly and lovingly at the Cross.
You and me should in reality be hanging on that middle cross, between the two other crosses on Golgata.
We are all thieves, liers, deceivers, evil doers, manipulators e t c, in one way or another, no matter how good we think we are, or how hard we try to be good and do the right thing. We all fall short.
By uplifting your sincere thoughts to Jesus, He will start to show you things. The closer you draw to God, the closer He draws to you.
It’s starts with humble and honest prayers. God will answer. By Bible verses, through His creation, through people, through all kind of different situations. God will speak (reveal, communicate) to you on a personal level. Often in way only you can fully understand, and no one else who you might explain it to.
God will reveal Himself to anyone who earnestly seeks Him; He is the absolute Truth, the absolute Light, the absolute Way to eternal Peace & Life – that is a promise. A promise not made by men, but by God Himself!

Not only does the Holy Spirit RESTORE God’s Glory (character) in men – He also REVEALS God’s Glory to men!
We are to reflect God’s Name and Glory, who He is, His attributes!
Just as the moon which doesn’t have its own light, but reflects and mirrors the true substance; the reality and character (Glory) of God.
To know God is to love one another. Whoever loves, are born by Him, because God is Love. To love is to know God!
