Awakening occurs when a person digs deep into his soul to examine his life, his motives, and his own sanctification for himself and before God in a serious repentance.
First in the moment of salvation, then in the many steps of repentance of sanctification – this process of being shaped more and more to become like Jesus Christ himself.
For this to be possible, a deep touch of God himself is needed through the preaching of the Word and the outpouring of the Spirit.
